2020 Overcoming Obesity Virtual Conference: Managing Obesity Across the Patient Lifespan

OMA’s fall virtual conference begins Oct. 7 and ends Oct. 11

Between Health Education Week and the Obesity Medicine Association’s (OMA) Overcoming Obesity 2020 Virtual Conference, this fall offers healthcare providers and professionals from all disciplines more than one opportunity to advance their clinical understanding of obesity medicine. OMA’s fall conference launches Oct. 7 - Oct.11 and will empower healthcare professionals with the advanced clinical knowledge needed to develop effective treatment plans for patients across the lifespan.

But the conference will do more than just that. It will also deliver practical opportunities to prepare for the American Board of Obesity Medicine exam and learn how to build an effective obesity treatment plan. The conference also offers a chance to tap into a powerful network of the country’s leading obesity experts. Hear from the conference keynote speakers Dike Drummond, MD, the country’s leading voice on clinician burnout and Dr. Louis Aronne, MD, FACP, DABOM a leading authority on obesity treatment.

This year’s theme, Treating Obesity Across the Lifespan, delivers the tools healthcare professionals need to expand their clinical practices to meet the demands of a patient population that has had an increasing incidence of obesity over the past 40 years.
