A surgeon made history by performing the first augmented reality abdominal surgery to remove a patient’s gallbladder in March. The operation, performed in Santiago, Chile, “opens a new world” for surgeons and offers better care for the patient, the physician said. The patient fully recovered within two weeks. GLP-1 antiobesity drugs are one of the hottest topics in health care right now, so naturally counterfeits are popping up online. Cybersecurity firm BrandShield took down more than 250 websites selling phony versions – more than 90% of the 279 pharmacy websites closed down last year, according to a report from Reuters.
