Use of telemedicine boomed during the COVID-19 pandemic. The pandemic conditions have subsided, but telehealth has become a permanent fixture in the U.S. health care system with widespread support. Kyle Zebley, senior vice president for public policy of the American Telemedicine Association and executive director of ATA Action, explains why this is a growing and exciting time for telemedicine in the United States.
