Congress and health care in 2025: AI prescribing medicine

Are artificial intelligence and machine learning programs ready to write prescriptions for patients? There is legislation that would allow that under certain circumstances. But human physicians should be making those decisions for patients, said Rep. Greg Murphy, MD (R-North Carolina).
