The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests.
Here’s the latest data, updated on May 5:
Positive tests: 1,173,257
Negative tests: 6,111,921
Pending tests: 2,791
Patient deaths: 62,806
