Drivers of health: Two measures to start with

Physicians Foundation President Gary Price, MD, MBA, explains two measures used to begin measuring drivers of health of patients. The Physicians Foundation has studied how these affect patient health, and believes a proposal by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services for a Universal Foundation to measure drivers of health could lead to new ways for doctors to help patients deal with social and economic conditions that affect well-being.
