But which kind of specialist?

I recently saw a new patient who had brought in a list of her past medical problems, as so many of my patients do. I was reading down the list when I came to a peculiar disorder I had never heard of: "labial hypertension." Chuckling under my breath, I pondered whether to refer her to a gynecologist or a blood pressure specialist.
