Tobacco use has fallen significantly in the last half-century, but nearly one in five American adults still uses tobacco in some form, making it one of the nation’s foremost public health challenges. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recently issued a study examining current tobacco use in more detail. Highlights of its findings follow.
