Rep. Greg Murphy, MD (R-North Carolina) and Rep. Jimmy Panetta (D-California) introduced the Medicare Patient Access and Practice Stabilization Act at the end of October 2024.

The bill would block a planned 2.8% cut to physician reimbursement planned in the 2025 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. It also would increase reimbursement by 1.8%.
