Inovalon, a provider of cloud-based health care software solutions, announced the availability of its Safety Management solution on the PointClickCare Marketplace. This integration aims to streamline incident reporting and enhance patient safety for post-acute care providers.

The Safety Management solution, a cloud-based SaaS application, integrates seamlessly with PointClickCare’s platform, enabling health care professionals to efficiently record, track, investigate, and respond to incidents while maintaining comprehensive documentation. By automating these processes, Inovalon seeks to replace traditional manual, paper-based documentation, which is often time-consuming and error-prone.

“Health care professionals need intuitive, efficient, and accurate solutions that give them time to focus on what they do best – caring for patients,” said Karly Rowe, interim president and general manager of Inovalon’s Provider business unit. “Our longstanding integrations with PointClickCare underscore our commitment to ensuring that providers are equipped with best-in-class solutions. Integrating this safety solution with PointClickCare and offering it on their Marketplace empowers healthcare professionals to identify risks, enhance patient safety, and drive better health outcomes.”

The new solution enhances incident tracking by guiding staff through step-by-step digital reporting, ensuring timely notifications to care teams. This proactive approach helps mitigate future risks and improves overall patient outcomes. Additionally, Inovalon’s interface with Caring Communities Insurance Company aims to create a seamless documentation experience.

With over 3,000 PointClickCare customer facilities already utilizing Inovalon’s services, the addition of Safety Management to the Marketplace provides easier access to advanced incident reporting capabilities. Inovalon also offers other integrated solutions, including Claims Management Pro for claims processing, Workforce Management for shift scheduling, and payment solutions like Patient Payment Management and Patient Statement Management.
