The Henderson Park Inn, Destin, FL, rates as the most romantic hotel in the US, according to TripAdvisor. The travel site released its findings based on millions of travelers’ reviews. The average cost of romance comes in at $316 a night.

What makes a hotel romantic? Ocean, water, garden, or other great views rank high as does privacy. Lovers like hideaways—those tucked away properties whose rooms come with secluded patios or soaking tubs.

“Travelers looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway with their special someone can confidently book these award-winning properties that consistently win over the hearts of their guests,” says Barbara Messing, TripAdvisor’s chief marketing officer. “From outstanding service, to lavish amenities and stunning surroundings, it’s easy to see why these hotels are beloved by travelers around the world.”
