Fireworks to Light Up the Sky

Fourth of July celebrations and parties are right around the corner. Fireworks, dancing and suntans are in our near future — here are some of the best fireworks as chosen by Oyster.

Looking for the biggest, most outrageous fireworks show in Southern California? Head over to AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl. With music, food and tons of entertainment at your disposal, you’ll be celebrating at one of the biggest gatherings in town for just $13 (kids 7 and under go for free).

Sharing many characteristics as the bustling city itself, New York City’s fireworks display is famous for a reason. The unique, colorful, and extraordinary production will ‘wow’ you from start to finish. They’ll light up the sky between 24th and 50th streets on the Hudson River beginning at 9:20pm.

Right on Miami Beach, the annual Fourth of July patriotic celebration of music and fireworks takes place again this year. Bring beach chairs and towels to this fun (and free) event beginning at 7:30 pm on 8th Street and Ocean Drive.

Around 9:15 p.m., gaze up as the capitol’s sky is illuminated with dazzling fireworks on the National Mall. The coolest part? The fireworks are actually launched from the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool and light up the sky over the Washington Monument.
