Toll Brothers reports earnings (important for housing numbers), President Obama will be talking about the fiscal cliff and job numbers come in on Friday - bad numbers here may be a result of Sandy.

A lot of economic reports will be coming out in the coming week and we’ll have to try and figure out what weakness can be pinned to Sandy and what is a result of a slowing economy because of troubles at home and abroad.

Toll Brothers reports earnings (important for housing numbers), as do athenahealth, Dow Chemical and Starbucks. President Obama will be talking about the fiscal cliff and job numbers come in on Friday — bad numbers here may be a result of Sandy.

Last week Merck withdrew from European Union consideration an application for a cancer drug that had already been rejected in the U.S. The Supreme Court agreed to take a very influential case in generic drug circles against Takeda.
