Kristen McGovern, JD, is the Executive Director of the Partnership to Empower Physician-Led Care, a coalition advocating for value-based care as a path to sustainability for independent practice

As a partner at Sirona Strategies, she works with decision makers inside and outside government to advance critical policy change needed to support delivery system transformation, including Medicare payment policy, interoperability, digital health, AI/ML and value-based care.

Prior to launching Sirona Strategies, Kristen served as Chief of Staff to the National Coordinator for Health IT at HHS, and also worked at the Office of Management and Budget in the Executive Office of the President. In both of these roles, she brought senior government leaders together around aligned policy and operational priorities.She has spoken on many podcasts, including LRVHealth’s Healthcare is Hard, Change Healthcare’s Changing Healthcare podcast, Gist’s Healthcare Daily, Xtelligent Healthcare Media, and others. She has also been a guest on MSNBC’s Mehdi Hassan Show.
