How many novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases were announced today?

The COVID Tracking Project is a volunteer effort to compile federal and state data in regards to new COVID-19 cases, including number of positive and negative tests. Data on vaccination comes from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Here’s the latest data, updated on February 10:

Positive tests: 26,968,049

Negative tests: 125,324,107

Number of hospitalized patients: 79,179

Patient deaths: 458,250

Total vaccine doses distributed: 62,898,775

Patients who've received the first dose: 32,867,213

Patients who’ve received the second dose: 9,840,429
