Patients want different communication options

The pandemic has changed the way many patients want to communicate with their physicians.

The pandemic has most likely permanently changed the way patients want to interact with their doctors, according to a 2021 HIMSS/SR Health survey.

The survey shows that patients want more digital communication, especially text messages, and that the age of the patient continues to be less of a barrier to electronic forms of communication.
