Vave Health has launched its Universal Wireless Probe, a new point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) device designed to improve efficiency and accessibility in clinical and educational settings. The device combines linear and phased imaging technology to deliver high-quality, full-body imaging without ongoing subscription fees or hidden costs.

The Universal Wireless Probe aims to lower the cost and complexity associated with existing POCUS technologies, making medical imaging more widely available. The device is portable, easy to use, and features a range of presets tailored for enhanced diagnostic capabilities.

"At Vave, our mission is to make medical imaging more accessible to all medical professionals," said Amin Nikoozadeh, CEO and Founder of Vave Health, adding that the device is designed around simplicity.

Engineered for portability, the probe includes a patented probe head cover and a swappable battery, ensuring continuous operation with minimal downtime. It also features gold-standard PZT transducer technology for optimal imaging performance.

Renee Dversdal, MD, chief medical officer at Vave Health, emphasized the probe's broad appeal. "A combination of wireless portability, lack of subscription and membership fees, lifetime software updates, full-body imaging, and rich educational support make the Vave solution the ideal platform for new learners and seasoned POCUS users alike," she said.

Beyond clinical applications, Vave Health has incorporated educational support into its platform. Its VaveCast feature allows educators to share their screen with multiple Android and iOS devices, facilitating seamless training and collaboration in medical education programs.
