Trump HHS nominee RFK Jr. – What do voters think?

AP-NORC survey measures approval ratings.

The U.S. Senate has begun confirmation hearings for some of the nominees to hold key positions in the administration of President Donald Trump.

That includes scheduling a Jan. 29 hearing to consider the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.

How do people feel about Kennedy?

“Views on some of Trump’s nominees for cabinet and other senior positions remain divided along partisan lines,” said a summary of poll results by the Associated Press (AP) and NORC at the University of Chicago.

This slideshow presents nationwide poll results overall, and for Republicans, Democrats and independent voters. The survey happened Jan. 9 to 13 this year among 1,147 adults.

All data come from AP-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. The survey also covered people’s thoughts about the impartiality of the U.S. Justice Department, the FBI and the Supreme Court, and about Tulsi Gabbard as director of national intelligence, Kash Patel as FBI director, and Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense.
