The International Society for Vaccines and MJH Life Sciences have partnered to present a free webinar about the long-lasting effects of COVID-19. The event will take place on Sept. 8, 2021 at 12:30 pm EDT.

Nathalie MacDermott, MBBCH, PhD, will lead a panel of 5 experts: Akiko Iwasaki, PhD; Michael Zandi, MA, MB, BChir, PhD, FRCP; Valeria Iodice, PhD; Robert Bell, MRCP, PhD; David Putrino, PhD.

Together, they will discuss the potential cause of post-COVID symptoms and how to manage patients’ suffering. These patients continue to experience a smattering of persistent symptoms, from fatigue, cognitive dysfunction, and shortness of breath to joint pain, heart inflammation, sleep issues, and more.

Additional discussion points include:

  • What is known about these prolonged health consequences?
  • What is the underlying biological cause?
  • Does the COVID-19 vaccine have any effect on these lingering symptoms?

The event is free to join and is expected to last an hour and a half.
