The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic recession have affected Americans in myriad ways, including their mental and emotional health.

The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic recession have affected Americans in myriad ways, including their mental and emotional health. To explore this aspect of the pandemic in more detail, the Kaiser Family Foundation analyzed data from a variety of sources*, with an emphasis on young adults, women, communities of color, people experiencing job loss, parents and children, and essential workers. Results of their findings follow.
